Chamre

Tokens of love and luck

The goal

Chamre is a florist offering services across the Osaka, Kyoto and Shiga prefectures in Japan. As well as creating wedding bouquets, Chamre’s creator and owner, Yoko, frequently hosts workshops and events where she shares her love and knowledge of floristry.

Yoko approached me looking to tie her business together with a fresh brand identity and website that would help her establish her credibility and increase exposure and recognisability of her brand.

The approach

The earthy colour use in Chamre’s branding was chosen to pair well with the vibrant photography showcasing Yoko’s bouquets. The outcome is a unique and subtly beautiful identity that goes a long way to set Chamre apart from the competition and draw in its customers.

Behind the name

The delicate, abstract logo mark was carefully designed to suit the concept behind Chamre which can be seen in its naming. “Chamre” merges of two words — “charm” and the prefix “re-” and refers to the idea of the bouquets being more than flowers. They’re tokens of good fortune and are about giving back and revisiting happy memories.
